You never realize how much is added to film and tv sound wise until you shoot videos yourself and the sounds that youre used to hearing in film you don't because they weren't added

I'm a simple man; I hear the words "Marley & Me" and I IMMEDIATELY stop the video and start watching something else 😩 I've never even seen it but even knowing what that movie is about and that it exists is.... NO.

Just for reference. Horses do not weigh 5000 pounds. Most of them don't even weigh 2000 pounds, even some big draft horses like Clydesdales (the Budwiser horses) are not typically 2000 pounds, more like 1600-1800. If you go to a place that does trail rides, the horse you ride there is probably around 1000-1200 pounds, maybe even less.

I always wondered how was created the sound of animals suffering in movies and videogames? Because I don't think they're hurting animals at least I hope.
