@2:21 ma'am, that's a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. It even sounds the same. Also, painting over dirt is not "cleaning" it.

How can anybody put 5k on a repainted bag? It's no longer leather. It's leather coated in paint. Might as well buy plastic.

Can a baby lamb slaughtered before 10 months after birth used for this bag be restored and brought back to life?

If the seller of this bagspa bag decides to sell she should be honest about the bag being recoloured. Recolor the bag could impact the leather so it doesn't feel as soft and nice to touch...not like the original. If seller is honest about the bag becoming frankenbag because of the redying the price should reflect this and it is not worth more than 2-3k at maximum.

You didn’t really use cotton buds to clean the whole chain, did you? Also, in areas where it is practical, particularly the leather in the chain, a mini roller would be an excellent tool, as it would more closely match the texture present in the leather. In fact it would try it everywhere I could on the bag, since a paintbrush is more likely to leave streaks. Sponges could also be trialled, I bet they would do a lovely job. Nice work!

Wonderful to watch but all I can think is - who pays Chanel prices then lets that happen to that gorgeous bag?

The cleaning and restoration process was fascinating to watch. The end result is amazing but it totally wouldn't be worth $5-6K. If I bought that purse for $6K I would have considered myself ripped off for a repainted purse with _filler_ !! You _know_ that filler will dry out and flake off.

how do one secure the leather strip once it's rethreaded ??

I would have used an air compressor spray gun to put the second coat of paint + finisher/top coat, so there wouldn't be any paint brush marks.😊
