And when will Girl Scouts change their name and allow boys or just disappear now that there is no need for it? As an Eagle Scout from 96 I’m glad I never put my son in this organization, not because I had a bad time (it was epic, philmont, Florida sea base etc), no because it went woke and stupid.

They need to be around good men in order to become good men. Girls need space. They need to be around good women in order to become good young women. I'm a lifelong liberal Democrat, and I do *not* support this one bit. It's wrong on so many levels. First and foremost, why are you punishing boys? Boys are people too - let them have this one thing, huh? Second, this idiotic decision is a *huge* gift to the Trump campaign and the GOP in general. In fact, it almost seems like a Machiavellian political move to influence the next election, because parents are not going to like this one bit, and the Magazi media is gonna have a field day with it! We run a Cub Scout group and I am just so sick of the bs that the national organization keeps doing. We are a boys only pack and we try to keep it as old school as we can but it’s hard to want to continue to be part of the organization anymore.

We have lost our Country

When I was a kid, I went to a cub scout meeting after being invited by a friend. I got a really weird vibe or feeling and there were also some strange kids there. I didn't know what the feeling was but I never went back. Later, as a pre-teen, I started feeling the same way about the Catholic church and started venturing out to other types of religions. I went to a church with a friend (non-Catholic) and got the same feeling again. As I grew up, I realized the feeling was a cultish feeling and I would avoid those places. Even later, it came out that one of the cub scout leaders was allegedly "messing" with some of the boys and also at that church too. Followed my gut from then on and it has served me well. Come to think of it, I'm surprised Catholic Priests didn't come up with their own "scouting" program to have alone time in the woods with boys. Glad I didn't stay in the Boy Scouts but I do see the value in the "legitimate" training. If I had gone through the Boy Scouts, with a positive outcome and made it to Eagle Scouts, I would be making a video of me burning anything Boy Scout related that I earned in a barrel right now. I mean since 1910, it has had the same name until "wokeness" took over everything.

This is bs. There are standards and morals to live by. I would never recommend even one of my 12 grandsons to ever join this ridiculous new bs group ever. The disgusting idiots who ruined everything Boy Scouts stand for will never succeed. They will have to change this ridiculous new name again. Real Boy Scouts will be private from now on. We have morals we live by. Period. Sick society these days.

Wow, this is tremendous news for all of the aspiring transgender scout leaders out there. I am sure there will not be any more children getting abused now! No more than the 80,000 plus they already abused that is. Pure Genius! I'd let a church full of Catholics priests babysit my kids before a scout leader................
